“Haute Couture Should Be Fun, Foolish And Almost Unwearable” – Christian Lacroix
by frou22
Day two of Spring Couture 2013 and some more beautful pieces were on display. My favorites from today were Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino and Elie Saab; beading, detail and embroideries were laid on like no other and all 3 collections were cohesive but elegant and unique.
Jean Paul Gaultier seemed to merge South of France with Bollywood chic in the best way; silk and chiffon flowed on the runway whilst beehive hair and tribal earrings brought a vintage bollywood vibe to life.
Elie Saab showed his take on timeless elegance. Beading, embroideries and lace were forefront as the collection gracefully moved through a length and color spectrum.
Valentino was the final favorite of the day, floral stitching, polka dots and peplum made it playfully girly without being too frou-frou. It was clean cut but detailed perfection.
Jean Paul Gaultier ‘s vibrant colors and extraordinary pattersn really caught my eye !!! Bold and beautiful colors are always the way to go!! thanks for sharing
